Apple Play for 2500

Anyone know if the new apple play will be available to those who own a 2015 Sierra/Silverado 2500 as an update?

I doubt that it will be available as an 'official' upgrade from GM. But I see that there are third parties already offering things like phone screen mirroring, so perhaps a third party might offer a solution at some point in the future. From what I can tell, though,real CarPlay and Android Auto will probably require different hardware than what the 2015 systems currently have.

Most likely not. Hardware and software are changed for 2016.

Not really sure I am interested in it if it is. My iPhone does just fine in my 2015 the few times I have used it for calls, music, etc. And I can't stand Siri for anything and have it shut off. So not convinced I am going to be missing anything by not having this in my 2015.
