Usb cigarette lighter charging port

I have searched this forum with no results. Has anyone modified or found a factory option to convert there cigarette lighter to a permanent usb charger. I saw an installation in a Jeep Grand Cherokee which had an HDMI/USB integrated into the existing cigarette lighter and it sparked my interest. Thanks for the help.

Well...I have the Kenwood ddx5902 which allows mirroring of my Samsung S5. It has a hdmi cable to connect to my phone. I was wanting a stock look to have the hdmi and usb in the same port like the photo above. This could have been a one off mod. I don't know. I do appreciate all of the info so far.

Chris...Does those parts fit in the existing hole for the cigarette lighter? The years on parts.com show 2010 and up for the aux jack holder. Thoughts...

I have the Kenwood DNX692 with the PAC USB Extension cable for using flash drives: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_541USBCBL/PAC-USB-Extension-Cable.html Charging wasn't a concern at the time, but may work. The HDMI cable you have was to be installed, but somehow missed. I'm now waiting on the new Bluetooth adapter from Kenwood, KCA-WL100 for my Android: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KCAWL1/Kenwood-KCA-WL100.html?search=kca-wl100&skipvs=T to mirror and gain use of my phone apps. I dislike having to plug in my phone to the vehicle, but that's a personal quirk. I can always use the charger if really needed.

I just popped the lighter out and then in 2 pieces put in the usb. First the collar/cover, then the actual port piece. As for the hdmi part, i have not looked into that. I just wanted nice looking charging ports. But all that stuff fits.
