My original order was for the POP-LOCK brand. They were out of stock and said the two were the same.

 

The product itself is pretty well made. The rating drops because of poor instructions (a few pictures would have helped) and the possibility that the lock could be munipulated with some effort. I don't feel 100% secure with this lock.

 

It's installed so, I'm not going to return it.

I had to mess with my Pop Lock power tailgate lock to get it to catch but once I got it right it was pretty well foolproof.

The lock worked perfectly. I think someone could reach under the handle and move the locking mechanism with their finger. The lock motor doesn't hold firm. Otherwise I like the function of the system.
