Very weird caller ID display

Greetings!

 

I have a 2014 Sierra 1500. When I get a call while driving my truck, the first letter of whoever is calling is displayed in Oriental in the display area.

 

I know, this is super strange!!

 

Anyone have a clue what in the world is going on??

Yes, this happens when I have Bluetooth turned on.

That is some weird stuff .....have the dealer fix it

If your using any kind of emoji or odd text in the caller name, then you will get weird symbols
