Burned Out Fog Light

So one of my fogs burned out...went to Autozone and the #### bulb costs $8 bucks.  Will warranty replace it?  Bumper to bumper, right?

$8?  Thats not bad i changed mine to the 38 watt bulbs and they were like $9.99

 

I have 2 used fog light bulbs sitting in my toolbox

I would think that would fall under normal wear and tear so i would say no.

I had one replaced in an Olds minivan once while it was under warranty...  I guess it's up to the dealer...

Did you notice a difference going to a higher wattage bulb?

 

Did you get the silverstars for your fogs?  I think they don't make them yet.......

i did noticed a difference (brighter) and no they are not silverstars.  I dont think they make them the part number for the ones i got was 893

When I take it in i'll just say that it stopped working.  It is only 1 of 14 things on the list I want looked at/fixed/documented before my warranty runs out.

FYI - warranty replaced the bulb.  Saved $8!!
