mirror swap question

hey can anyone point me in the direction of the write-up on how to swap from DL8 mirrors to DL3 mirrors (i.e. what wires to tap into to get signals/puddle lamps to work) i know I've seen somewhere on here where someone tapped into wires in order to get them working (don't really care about folding option). Ive been searching for a couple hours now and can't seem to find it again. Any help would be great. thanks!

Not really sure but I would just remove the mirror lens and see what wire goes into the turn signal then run it to the wires by the peddles. The led light on the mirror I would just tap into reverse light, again find that wire and run it to the reverse

Where are the wires by the pedals? Does anyone have a color code for what/where I need to tap into? Someone said the trailer wiring but where the heck is that at near the drivers footwell

If you look on top of the peddles there's like 4 plugs with a bunch of wires there. I have no idea which wires are the correct ones but I'm sure there's a diagram somewhere here that tells you.
