I am considering buying a front leveling kit for my silverado 1500 2wd.  I am trying to get it to look like a 4x4.  i want to put the kit on and get 265x75x15's for tires and american racing wheels.  does anyone have any experience or know anything about the front leveling kits? will i have to get my fron end aligned if i do this? thanks

Definately get the front end looked at after you do it for alignment. The last thing you want is to ruin a new set of meats.

The size should fit, depending on backspacing on the wheel.

I leveled mine. A Silverado 1500, 2002, sportside, classic cab/short wheel base.

The bushings came from DAYSTAR. It looks good!

It's a 3 hour job in a suspension shop, this is no backyard projet as stated by DAYSTAR. Another problem is that the top ball joints will take a beating.

My two cents worth.

Silverback.

 I had a FabTech 3" spindle lift done on mine by 4Wheel parts. Spindles, shocks, U-bolts, blocks, 265 Pro Comps A/T's, mounting, balancing, and four whell alignment. $1365 out the door. Now it sits a little higher than the Z71 stock. Going up to a 285 next.
