How do these trucks hold up over time? Particularly the 07-08 models? As reliable as the older trucks 99-06? Any huge issues?

Check the dash board. Lots of them are cracking

 

08 had door lock issues also (supplier issue)

Good to know I will make sure I look at the dash closely before making a purchase. Other than that they hold up pretty well? Are they as mechanically sound as previous years? Also what about the vortec max package...is it worth it? Id like to find one with the 6.0 what year did they stop this? How do other owners like their vortec max?
