2015 Z71 Suburban...oh so many problems....

Hey ,

 

So I know I am not the only one having issues......I just dropped off my suburban earlier today with a list of issues. We took it in a few weeks ago and they had to order most parts. They called this week to say they were in so they have my suburban now. Said it will take a few days....

 

here is my list of issues:

 

1. when slowing down or stopping, driver and passenger captain seats made noises and felt like they were coming loose. Super annoying.

 

2. steering wheel makes a popping type noise when turning the wheel, more often than not.

 

3. driver and passenger side windows make a whistle or flapping noise when driving....another really annoying thing.

 

4. black plastic window trim has come off in my hand when shutting the doors from the outside.

 

5. at 45mph or around 1200 rpm, engine makes a deep vibration noise inside my truck....its not a sound like you have described in the previous thread...not a pressure feeling, just noise that is loud and extremely noticeable causing me to speed past the most common speed limit around here to avoid the noise.

 

6. when i brought my truck in for its first oil change and tire rotation, some **** messed up my front fender on the lift or with a tool. deep scratches to the metal.

 

7. my drivers leather seat was scratched with 4 scratches after that same service visit.

 

8. when at idle, my truck makes a chirping noise or clicking noise (im going to make a post about this to see if it is normal)

 

9. when i brought it in for that oil change they mentioned there was a bulletin about fixing the 4wd system....

 

so my husband told them he wanted a new drivers seat and a new fender off an identical suburban. he said he didnt want them to fix and paint the scratches because its a new truck and the paint will never match up...so they agreed....

 

he also said if the engine is messed up that he doesnt want them working on a brand new vehicle engine, that he wants a new engine......

 

as for the rest...i guess we see what happens....!!

 

he stressed that for 70k, none of these should have been an issue in the first place and they were very understanding...

 

they gave me a traverse as a loaner car...which completely sucks with 4 kids (2 in carseats in the middle row)

 

so basically i am wondering are any of you having these other problems too? have you noticed the leather is really soft and easily scratched? and the plastic on the dash/center console area? i went from a 2008 z71 tahoe to this. i never had 1 scratch in 7 years with my tahoe. and no other issues either!!!!

That's a lot of problems but they're common many users here are experiencing these problems.
