Two weeks later on my 2005 GMC Sierra. 102k. Just got from small dealer. Engine light is on and ran scanner at AAuto.

C0201 ABS Open or Shorted Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor
P0496 Evap Emissions Sensor High Purge Flow
?0035 Left Front Wheel Sensor Circuit

Also, getting message: Tighten Gas Cap

Do they all need to be done? I'm taking it back but want to make sure it gets done right, not clearing the codes and crossing fingers.

Do they have emissions inspections in MA? Safety and emissions?

I'd start with the easy one and tighten the gas cap.

 

But yes, I would take them back to the dealer you bought them from and address it with them. Sure, you get what you pay for. But you shouldn't also be blindsided after you sign the dotted line.
