Forgive me if this has been discussed but I searched with no luck.

But I'm going on a roadtrip for Christmas and rain is in the forecast. It's going to be me a 2 others plus luggage and gifts so got me looking for some type of weatherproof bag that I could throw the big stuff into in the bed and leave the cab for stretching out and more delicate gifts or what not. I found a couple companies making exactly what I'm look for:

https://ruffsack.com/

www.tufftruckbag.com

The Tuff Truck bag definietly looks to be the superior product but at $200, it's a hard pill to swallow especially for something that will only occasionally get used. The Ruff Sack is a lot more budget friendly. Anyone ever used either? Any pros/cons? How do they hold up to the wind going down the road at 75MPH? How well do they keep water out?

Thanks!

Tonneau is out of the question. I use the bed too often for the dirtbike and taking those things off and on are a pain. Plus no room in the garage to store it. Thought about those folding ones but even completely open, I can't get the dirtbikes completely in the bed.

I gotcha. Well Ive got a vinyl roll up(not the kind that rolls into a metal box) and it gets out of the way almost completely and i never have to completely remove it if i wanna use the whole bed. Paid like $350ish for it and is damn near water tight (except high pressure carwashes)

Good info, might have to check it out.
