me(in my 325is), and a guy that pulled up next to me in a 99 & up Silverado 5.3, all black with a Billet Grille(looked really good). I could "Feel" he was gonna pass me when it turned green(2-into-1, with a turn) so get ahead of me when it narrowed, and I wasn't in the mood today, so when the light turned green, I let him start going, I went casually up to 3500 RPM(6500 redline(as of now, later will bve 6900)), then let it out when I went into second. I didn't floor it, I just did probably the best 1-2 shifts I've done in a looong time, if not ever. Even with my LSD, I musta left a good bit of rubber in that intetsection. I didn't even mean to accelerate THAT hard, but I tend to forget how much the car likes to climb the revs after 3000(powerband gets really fat and smooth after 3500). That was nice.
