Good deal on APEX edition bull bar if interested

These are a really good deal and they do have the front parking censor holes in the skid plate already too. This is also the high mount bull bar and not like the Westin or the others that sit low on the front of the truck. I ordered one and it just came in today and I'm going to do the install over the weekend. The only thing is the parking sensor wiring will have to be extended and you'll have to pick up a set of 1" plugs to go in the empty holes in the bumper once the sensors are moved.

From the pics - doesn't look like it has any light mount points. Did I miss them?

That looks pretty nice! I'm not usually a fan of those bull bars. Do they come in black? haha

The same company on EBay offers the ones for the Black Widow trucks too and they come in black, do a search of their store on there and you'll see them.

Yes light mounts are on the cross bar above the skid plate just like all of the other bull bars out there. The holes are about 14" from center to center. I'm planning on putting a 24" LED bar on mine eventually.

Nice. What if I don't have front sensors, can I use the bull bar and install a set of sensors or that is not possible if you are already missing the front sensors?

I would say if you don't already have the sensors that it would have to be an aftermarket option and it wouldn't be integrated with the computer on the truck and there would be no guarantee that the sensors would fit the holes in the skid plate. Maybe you could purchase the factory sensors and wire them up with an aftermarket display/kit but still don't know if that would be possible.

Do you know if they offer a front bracket for a plate.

I'm not sure what you mean.... What kind of plate?

Yes they do, it says its universal and it seems to look just like the ones that go on the Westin bull bars. There is a nut and bolt in the middle on the back side of the skid plate that attaches it to the cross bar and the bracket mounts to that. You remove the nut place the bracket on the bolt and reassemble from what I can tell.

Thanks that is what i feared but oh well. I do like the black widow version, I just wish it was all black instead.

Does anyone know if the 07-13 bull bar or grill guard will fit a 14-16? If it mounts to the tow hook will it be the same or did they change in 14'

I do not mind the look of bull bars and like the idea of a little added protection. It is unfortunate that they are not designed to allow for tow hooks!
