Retrax Pro MX damaged in transit.

Fed ex crushed my new retrax pro. They left it out in front of my garage door during a snow storm, never rang the bell or anything. I found it covered in snow with the box end ripped open and the foam packaging hanging out. The box was filled with snow. After opening the box I found the canister to be banged up pretty badly. They had to have dropped it on to it's side and on top of something else or maybe just rolled it out of the truck end to end. Very disappointed in fed ex but auto customs is taking care of a replacement.

Yeah, that's complete crap that they would even deliver something in such poor shape.

if it was damaged by fed ex, they should be taking care of it.
Last year I had bought a streamlight flashlight for my parents and had it shipped to them, fed ex showed delivered but it never showed up. My mom is a stay at home wife (ah, the life) and my dad is self employed and the business is right next to the house, so they are always home.

Filed a claim with fed ex, and they replaced with almost no question. Their local driver said they dont even question it most of the time- if a claim gets filed its easier to replace then use the resources to investigate. I then had my answer of why it cost me $20 to ship a small package less than 100 miles away
