Constant smell of gas

I have a 1998 GMC Yukon&yesterday I noticed it somewhat smelt like gas while I was driving but did not put much thought into it at the time. Today it has a very strong smell of gas ghe entire time Im driving so much so that Ive got a headache from it. What could it be from?! Im a single parent on a fixed income so I dont have alot of money for repairs.

Could be any part of the fuel line under the cab, to up on top of the engine. If it's a strong smell it should be easy to find.

 

Although I believe that year had that notorious injection spider - if you have a large plug with half a billion wires going into it on the very top of the plastic intake manifold, then you have that system. Those are famous for leaking, but normally you wouldn't smell that in the cab.

 

If the truck is running fine, then it's probably a return line.
