2000 Sierra wiper problem

Hey everyone I'm new to the site. Anyway, truck is a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 and the issue is my wipers don't park correctly. When they are supposed to park they go to the bottom like they should and then come up about 2". I adjusted them down and they hit the cowl once they're about to park. I replaced the pulse board and it didn't help, about 3 years ago I replaced the turn signal/wiper switch, and today I just swapped in another wiper motor/transmission from a junkyard and it's still doing the same thing. Every GMT 800 truck I've been in doesn't have this issue. I'm stumped on this one. Is there any way to adjust the way the wipers park? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bump this up a bit because my 99 has done the same thing for about 7 years now....kind of ugly with the wipers up there....

I agree, it was driving me nuts. I found the problem just the other day. The arm on the wiper motor to the transmission needs to be adjusted. I guess it slipped at one point. It's not too hard to do and took me half an hour. Just pop the linkage and remove the nut on the arm. It's a splined shaft and not pressed on so it just wiggles off. I turned the arm 1/8th of a turn counter clockwise and they work excellent now
