My 2016 Tahoe Lt has developed a weird whistle/Chirp noise, almost sounds like a bird every time I press on the accelerator. Driving me nuts!!! Anyone ever experienced this. My current mileage is only 2700. Dealer cant see my vehicle until Monday.

Mine has developed a slight occasional chirping/squeak from the rear when going over bumps. Almost sounds like could be from the tailgate struts..

My truck developed a whistle every time I accelerated, after I put a new muffler on. If the muffler doesn't have ample mesh inside of it, it will whistle. Replaced the muffler and problem was solved.

Took it to the dealer today. Some valve is broken so they are replacing the muffler. should have the part in a few days ;)

Had this issue on my '14 Silverado. They put a new muffler system in w/ the new valve. That fixed it but I only kept the truck a year? I saw that many guys pinned it open or had it cut out.

Well the noise went completely away when they replaced the muffler, but now a few weeks later, the noise is back ;(
