2016 Climate Control Question

Agreed although my bmw is 20 years old.. My last 2011 Benz had amazing climate control though.

I mostly us the auto climate control when it's super cold. I don't have a need for it in the summer with 100+ degree temps. When my A/C is on, is ON. The colder the better. I only wish I could find a way to re-route the heater hoses bypass the heater core when the A/C is on. From what I can find, this was a standard feature on some GM vehicles until about 1999 or 2000. Even retrofitting a manual valve would be acceptable for now. I found a vacuum actuated valve, but I think the 2014+ HVAC systems are all electric. There are a few electric valves on the market, but i haven't found one that I deem reasonably priced to experiment with, just in case it doesn't work.

anyone have an issue w/ electric start... dual climate.. drivers side is set to normal temp i previously set.. but passenger side drops to "LO". Only seems to do it with electric start . 2015 SLE
