Crew Cab rear seat lift kits or DIY?

Has anyone successfully and safely lifted the rear seat in their crew cab (I have a 2015 Silverado). I found a website that installs/builds custom subwoofer boxes for trucks and they also sell a 5/8" rear seat lift kit, they don't have a description of what this kit is nor do they have any images. They claim that no seat belts or anything else needs to be modified and that all the safety features of a non modified seat still hold true.

I'm wondering if they are just using some metal spacers between the seat and the bolts that are holding it down. I am also wondering if this is something I could do myself with some (insert very strong metal spacer here please) spacers that were 1" to give me some more room under the rear seat while still having everything latched in, still get my folding and no modification of seat belts.

Thanks

Stack some washers.

Better solution would be to have a box made for your seat without modifications. The box in my 2001 has (2) 12"s and no modifications necessary.
