Factory GM Borla......hmmmm. I was at my local Chevy dealer recently and a new Tahoe rumbled by, and man did it sound awesome! I think it was a single tip outlet behind each rear tire. Does this sound like Borla?

Hard to tell lol the big things is the no drone while keeping afm on. That's what makes the Borla good

No, it's actually the valve they added specifically for the "GM Performance Exhaust."

 

IF you buy your full catback exhaust from Borla's website and not from GM, then you will still have drone in AFM mode, as it will NOT come with the adaptive valve.

Correct, I believe someone else found out that GM/Borla will not sell the piece separately; package deal only.

 

 

What's the GM part number for the correct one?

Choose Performance Tab and then Exhaust and you'll see every single option available with part numbers/price.

I bought mine from GMPartsdirect.com. It was slightly cheaper than directly from GM.
