I have a Z-71 that I lifted 6" and put 35's.  Right now I have stock 4:10's and it really isnt that bad.  If you go over 35" and you are...You will have to get 4:56 to get some of that power back.  Really these trucks eat gas on there own stock but it is hard to get gas mileage back going that high, Especially with 4:56 your engine will be revving up higher because of the lower gears.  Thus, that is how you get your power back.  More RPM's = more power = more gas.

w/ 37s, I would go w/ 4.56s. You will see a definite increase in power and get up and go. I can't wait until I regear. Driving around w/ 36x14.50s and 3.73s sucks. Once you get going, you don't notice it, but getting going blows, especially when towing.
