I have a 2009 GMC Sierra 4x4 when u driving down the road it jerks to the left sometime but only for a split second any ideas what is causing this

Anytime I get any strange handling, I jack the truck up by each lower control arm, and check for play in the wheels by grabbing at 3 & 9, 12 & 6, and 2 & 7 to check for excessive play. One or more front end components could be worn.

 

Also could just be alignment out of whack, or severely worn shocks/struts. Might just be reacting over bumps. Needs a thorough check either way.
