I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 with a Rough Country 2 & a half inch leveling kit I am running toyo m55 LT275-70-18. I'm not a fan of the Rancho Shocks at all and I'm thinking about getting a set of bilstein's and getting rid of the leveling kit. Would it be good to get rid of the leveling kit or just add these? Will taking the leveling kit out and installing these give me enough lift to be clear my tire size now?

I haven't had a chance to install my 2" leveling kit to compare the ride, but I've heard the Bilsteins on the highest setting (to lift it the most) rides rough. I would leave the leveling kit on and add the Bilsteins to the factory setting and you should have a pretty good ride then,

I was thinking about installing the B 5100 adjustibles also. The thing about the Bilstien shocks is that you will get more travel than the RC. Let me know if you want to get rid of you RC 2.5!!

I've had my bilstein 5100's set at the highest setting for over 8 months now and love the way it rides. It doesn't ride rough at all.

I had the 5100s at the highest setting for about a year and I enjoyed the ride - better than stock for sure. From what I've heard, people have had poor results using the 5100s and a leveling kit at the same time.

Yes, you don't want to "stack" lifts. That will kill your angles. I had 5100's on my last 2 trucks, a '08 Tundra and a '13 F-150 and the overall ride was fair to good, a little stiffer than stock. However on slow bumps such as speed bumps especially, you could feel the shocks "top out" and thud. It was really annoying.
