Navigation Issue

Not sure if this is where this question would go. If it belongs somewhere else Admin please move.

 

I own a 2015 Sierra Denali. I have the intellink with Nav option. My settings allow me to have my nav come up on a smaller screen in the center of my console, with two other features to the outsides. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

 

Every now and then a message saying " No active route" pops up instead of my nav screen. GM has indicated that this is a normal function. Im assuming this is a standard GM reply. If anyone has this issue please chime in. Thanks in advance.
