What headlights are in your 99-06?

After 10 years, I finally had a headlight go out. I'm open to trying something new, I'm sure the technology has advanced enough over the last 10 years. One thing I will not get is the Sylvannia SilverStar Ultras. I have them on my wife's Traverse, and didn't realize they only last 150 hours. They don't last more than 5 months for me...

 

I would like to do a plug and play 9006 bulb, but if anyone can vouch for a reasonably priced better setup, I'm all ears.

Ive had tbe Osram nightbreaker since some time last year (fom the link below) and so far I don't have any complaints about the performance, depth and side illumination are excellent imo. Although for a halogen bulb in our crappy housing there's only so much it can do!

 

Unfortunately I ordered the 3500k version but I regret it since it's slightly off white, I would have preferred a truly white look. If only to make the truck look less dated. lol
