Question
morrislee
I am trying to extend the OnStar module to stay connected for more than 10 days, anyone know how the condition is controlled?
Does the VCIM (OnStar Module) uses its own battery when it is on standby or does it use the car battery?
I have dual batteries, I am trying to just run the OnStar module as long as I can, well, at least be able to do 2 weeks. 10 days arbitrary number is terrible, 14 days seems more logical or why was it not 7 days? 14 days works as it would be a common shift work rotation getting on and off the plane.
Cant find much documentation as I do not want to fry this thing.
