2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ Power Outlet not working???

My power outlet is not working at all, I have plugged everything that I could think of, well within the voltage range of the outlet, and it will not work. I see the little grey box on it, which I assume it lights up green when the outlet is being used. But it doesn't do anything. I know some cars, that have outlets have a switch that turn on the outlet. And then it can be used, please help

If you look in your owners manual there is a section on fuses , it will list the device or equipment and the location (size)
