New Truck

Last week we picked up a 1995 2500 Chevrolet, ext. cab, short bed, 5.7L, 60,000 miles on it, etc. We got it to replace our 89 chevy for pulling our race car trailer and hauling things. The truck's interior is in perfect shape. Most of the exterior is nice. The truck has spent all over it's winters in Texas or in a garage. Whenever the truck got a scratch on it the guy who owned the truck before us would spraypaint over the stratch to keep it from rusting. The only thing is that the spraypaint wasn't excatly the same color as the truck so you can tell where he spray painted it. It has a few small dents in the side of the truck but nothing major. Also the guy had huge towing mirrors that he had to make holes in the side of the truck. He took those off and put plugs in the holes so that doesn't look the greatest. He used it to pull a 32 ft 5th wheel. Overall, we're pretty happy with it even though the exterior isn't the greatest. I'll put some pics up the in picture post forum in a little while.

The truck looks good in the Pics. Was the guy a moron that you bought it off of??? Why would he spray paint colored paint over the clear coat?

I hope it's a good one... ( I think it should be), and it'll be more up to the task that you need to use it for vs. the older '89 1500.
