4.75 RC lift?

ok so I have a 2014 LT 4x4 and I had planned on doing the RC 4.75 combo lift (3.5 suspension & 1.25 of body lift) I like how the 5" lift looks and with 4.75 it is pretty damn close. I called a couple of shops to get install prices and they said they wouldn't touch anything with a body lift. so my question is what are the cons of 1.25 of body lift? that lift shipped and installed is roughly $1,027.97 where the 5" suspension lift would run me about $1,897.00. so being just .25" higher I would rather save almost $1,000. thanks

The 5" lift is made to drop everything so your angles are proper, that 3.5" kit I just wouldn't trust the spacers for the differential. Do it right or don't do it at all, IMO

The RC 5" is a much better lift. The bigger issue with the 4.75" combo kit is the lift part of it. The angles that it puts the front suspension at is pretty terrible.

What you save by going with the 4.75" kit, you'll spend later on repair parts when your front suspension and CV joints go to hell.

Don't want to high jack the thread but I'm on the fence about the RC 5" and Fabtech 4". I've asked a couple guys and they said they have no issues with the Fabtech. From their description is lowers front components and replaces others to help maintain angles.

If I had a choice I'd choose Fabtech all day over RCX. They just seem to have better quality control on stuff compared to RCX. If you want top dollar for comfort and quality look no further than bds

ok well I made my decision lol i'm going to do the 6" RC lift since it is the same price as the 5" because i fund 35's cheaper than 33s and I have more option with the 35" tire since my stock wheels are 22s
