Would you take a 6.0 HD over your 1500?

Like my post states I haul a 5000 pound slide in camper. I need the payload I can only get with a 3500 dually.

with a gas engine. If I fill my freshwater tank in my camper, I am only 500 pounds overweight. I can live with that.

Same exact truck with a Duramax and I would be 1200 pounds overweight, I worry about that.

I would only own an HD truck if I needed the towing capacity or the payload. If a 1500 meets all your requirements

they ride better and are more car like and are truly fine vehicles. As I said before, when my towing and hauling days are over, I will be looking at Colorados. I have to add I just love the High Country trim. The heated steering wheel is a fantastic option, and the vibrating seats for lane drifting and parking assist are amazing and will be saving lives. You can get these in other trims, but you only get the amazing 12 way HC leather seats in an HC.

That little buzz on your butt is much better than an audible alarm. My car has the lane drift bell and if your car radio is turned up high, it is hard to hear the bell. Also first time the collision warning came on, wow, excellent warning.

Bright red lights on the windshield and the seats buzzing at the same time, it gets your attention fast.

Good luck in whatever you decide.
