New Truck Almost Home

I slid by the dealership today to take a picture of my new truck. It's a 2016 SLT 6.2 double cab iridium metallic. I should be able to pick it up in a couple days. I had one on order for 12 weeks and was told that it would not be built and I'd have to wait for a 2017. Being as my trade in needs some work I decided to have them do a dealer trade for a similar one.

 

They still need to tint the side windows, install electronic rust module, install mud flaps, and remove the side steps. I negotiated a trade for the stock 20's, tires and steps for a set of 18's with BFG KO2's 285/65/18 and spray on box liner. If it came with the polished all terrain type 20 inch wheels I would have kept them but I wasn't stuck on the 5 spoke ones it had on it.

 

I also have a diamondback SE in rugged black sitting in my garage for it.

Thanks. I need to test the tires to see if they rub incase I need a level. From what I've researched on here it's hit or miss with that size.

Otherwise - nice truck! Getting those front windows tinted is a must, I only lasted a week before I went and got mine done.

Ya to tell you the truth I was hesitant about it. What swayed me was the warranty. Its part of their protection package that protects against stone chips etc. I know its likely a commission grab for the salesman and claiming warranty is easier said than done but I went for it anyways. Drove it today and locked the wheels both ways forward and reverse. No issues with the tires hitting the sway bar or fenders but I am going to have to zip tie the fender liner.
