Brake Pedal issue

Having a issue when braking on my 2015 Silverado. This issue just started a few days ago. Truck has 6500 miles. When lightly applying the brakes I feel a mechanical movement of the pedal, kind of a click or snap, maybe 1/16-1/8" before normal brake resistance is felt. I visually checked the linkage and padal hardware, nothing obvious. The problem might be in the vacuum booster or master cylinder.

 

Has anyone else had a similar problem?
