Clunking Noise From Rear

Recommended Posts

Hey all I have been trying to track down what is causing a noise under the bed when going over small bumps at lower speeds or on dirt roads. The noise happens just after the shocks start to rebound. I cant for the life of me find out what's causing it. Things I've verified that are not the cause.

Spare tire, orientation of rear shocks, things in bed, exhaust, and u bolts/ blocks.

Ive taken it to the dealer and they refused to look at it without a hefty diagnostic fee due to all my after market parts.

I'm just looking for ideas on what to check out if anyone has experience with this.

I'll put removing the Fox shocks in the rear and installing OEM shocks to see if that changes anything but I kind of doubt it.

Any ideas are much appreciated!

Having the same issue but not sure what it would be. I'll be watching this post to see if someone would know.

Well there you go. Hopefully that's not the problem on mine. I'll have to keep the shocks in mind.
