Okay today I'm going back to the shop and we are on a four lane highway right. I pull up behind this Mitsu....they need to speak english shi Eclispe right and wasn't really even paying attention. Then besides up rumbles up this 69 RS/SS Camaro Camed out loping and a garaunteed Rat. I was like f@*k yeah. About this time I heard a farting noise and instantly turned to my friend. He then assured me that he did not fart and rather that the car in front of us was making that noise. Well I looked upon the Me a bitchy and saw he was a hardcore racer, I'm not playing. Just for starters he had a wing so big on it that it was above the roof of the car, a 6"+ exhaust tip, 18+ wheels...clear taillights, loud loud sub pounding stereo, at least a 6" tach probably closer to a 9" tach, smoked glass, and lowered...so basically you know what I'm talking about this guy was a racer and new his sh!t. Then I looked over at the rather sissy Camaro totally cherry, he open up his cut outs and was running straight headers the engine was shaking my truck and my insides you know the feel, then out back he had traction bars and a 4 line street legal hoosier about 16" or so wide. So instantly I was like wow man this Camaro BB powered is so going to get his ass whipped. About then the light turned green and god came down from the heavens. With the turning of the green light some how the sissy Built Big Block Camaro disappeared with a deafening noise and I was still behind the Eclispe so I figured somehow the power from the Eclispse was actually pulling my truck along with it, probably the wing, but anyways I'm not sure how but the farting eclispe for some reason couldn't even see the Old School, old technology, big block ineffiecent powered Camaro. And even more surprizing my HD with 50 gallons of off-road diesel a 3 weatherguard boxes and a Miller Bobcat Welder was able to keep up with such a built and obviously a car that showed such race prowess.

Okay if you didn't pickup on the smarta$$ness now then just stop.

Anyways after experiencing this pure act of god we could only respond in one fashion. Yup you guessed it pointing and laughing. Well this pissed off the race car driver, eclipse, and he decides to follow us to the shop upon pulling in the race driver realizes that he's no longer in his territory of a big mouth, loud stereo, gansta lean, and bling, blinginess. So he tries to gun out well about that time Steve blocked him in with the Drag and about killed him in the process. So being a nice guy me and about 8 fellow workers went down to see what the problem was with these two young gentlemen. And can you believe that they weren't mad and that they thought we were someone else and appologized at least 4 or 5 times... Strange isn't it??

LOL!!! I had a similar run in on the way to Lombard Cruise nights last year against a "hardcore" member of the "Dykes racing team" whoops, I meant "Powder Puff racing team" She was of Oriental persuasion and was driving a Sh*tsumishi Ecripse.

I was stopped at a stoplight in the left lane, the right lane was open and she moved over from behind me into the right lane. Now for the record, I would not have opened full scale military operations on her a$$ had she not done this as this is one of my pet peeves.

Anyway, the light goes green, I leave her with three gear of tire smoke and basically am in a different town by the time she figures out what the hell happened. Well, seeing as though I am a law abiding citizen, I slowed down to the posted limit and casually cruised along. She was reeling me back in because she probably wanted to do a flyby.

This is where it gets good....We get caught at the next light, she looks over and tells me "You're gonna blow that piece of Sh*t Chevy's motor if you keep doing that!"

I casually responded that I built this motor to withstand 7,000 rpm flogging at a drag strip which her car will never see, told her that in terms of longevity mine will still be running when hers is rotting in a junk yard and that she should head back to the sandbox to play with the rest of the kiddies!

I cordially responded again by leaving her in plumes of tire smoke and a bonus deafening from the straight pipes.

Now, why do you have to be cocky!

I realize you have a Sy/Ty which is a REAL good race and you'll probably take me from a dig, but once I wind up, that thing had better be running healthy 11's to maintain your advantage.

BTW, I race my G/F's father's two Typhoon's all the time. In order to beat him, you need a car that's at least a half second faster in order to reel him back in and pass. Which is usually not a problem as his faster one only runs low 13's. His slower one ran a 13.71 the day I ran my truck.
