I'm in the market for a power retractable tonneau cover so I'm looking for comments on what you bought and why. Please feel free to brag about how great is it, and of course, any shortcomings too. Pics are also encouraged. :)

Snow, sand, dirt. Just another problem in the making. Cool option if it was reliable. You still lose bed space with the mechanism is another downside. I like the flip style and can remove quick if I want the full length. just me.

I was all hot on this cover until I found out that holes have to be drilled.... I'm not drilling holes. https://www.peragon.com/videos/

UPDATE: I contacted the company and apparently they offer a bracket kit for this which eliminates drilling. Looks like I may order this after all!

I decided to place my order today for the Peragon retractable tonneau cover. I added the SS hardware, tailgate seal and deadbolt options. Ordering was easy and shipping is free. Seems like a good product for the price and offers the ability to be removed in under 30 seconds which gives me roob for whatever I want to put in the bed. I'll be sure to post once installed.

I also ordered a Peragon cover for my 2016 Denali about a week ago, SS hardware clamp kit and color matched Crimson Red Tintcoat to match the truck. I will also post some pics when I get it installed.

Oh and I have a XTang Trifecta Trifold signature canvas cover for a short bed for sale $150.00 first come first served. If anyone wants it and is around the nashville tn area I can meet up will take like 3 minutes to install on your short bed truck. Just some hand wheel clamps on front section. It came off a 2009 so is an exact match for 2007 through 2013 short bed. it is Not a perfect match for the 2014 up but it fits OK

Nice... I didn't go for the paint because powder coat is stronger than paint. Didn't want to spend the extra $$$ for a less durable finish... but it does look nice!!!! :)

So my Peragon color matched cover came in but HOUSTON we have a problem!!! I also ordered the clamp style brackets and it appears that they shipped me the wrong brackets the top leg is not nearly as long as the drill type brackets and the slot of course is much shorter SO I CANNOT adjust the rails close enough together. Check out these pics. DanRC30 if your cover has come in can you holler back I want to compare what they sent you for the clamp on type brackets to what I have here. Pics attached the ones I am holding are the drill type and the clamp type are clamped to the the side of the bed. HUGE difference NEED MORE SLOT. Need approx another 3/8in at back and about 1/8in on front. I have sent info to Peragon support but of course they are not in on the weekend so will be Monday at the earliest before they get back to me.

The clamp kit should come with one set of short clamps and two sets of longer clamps. The installation video on their website shows that the two sets of longer clamp brackets go towards the cab and the short set goes towards the tailgate. One long pair up front by the cab, one long pair in the middle, and the short pair by the tailgate. Let me know if that helps.

Just so everyone knows, this is a really good cover. I'm not sure I'd walk on it, in fact I know I wouldn't. It's not designed for that. But it does a great job at what it's designed for and the support from the company is top notch. They are very helpful and accommodating. I love how it fits and seals to the bed. The best part is it being removable. I LOVE that feature the most. I bought the optional clamp brackets so no drilling was involved. It wasn't hard to put together either. I built it in my living room and carried it by myself out to the truck and installed it. Having a friend would help of course, but it's possible to do it alone as I proved. Got the tailgate sealer kit as well, and the optional double bar lock kit. I couldn't be happier. :)

Dan can you take a quick measurement on the middle and back clamp leg length for me. Pretty sure they just shipped me the wrong clamp brackets, it seems to be a new program that they are starting? The factory guy said they did not even have a place on the order form to put them? I am Tempted to just go ahead and drill the other brackets on and complete the installation but I do not think I can stand to do that to my 2016 Denali.............

Sigh now I am staring over at the corner of my workshop at my lincoln mig welder, knowing that I COULD modify these brackets!!!! OK I am over it now I will wait till monday and see what Peragon support has to say. However Dan any dimensional info that you could send would possibly be very helpful (love that color on your truck man LOL) so I can get them on the right track quickly. I want to get a picture of my Peragon cover installed too!!

The longer brackets in the front were a very tight fit as there was zero adjustment available on mine. The bolts were on the very inside of the bracket slots. So much I had to squeeze them in. But the middle and tailgate brackets were fine.

I can't take measurements right now as we're getting pummeled with t-storms. The front two brackets barely allowed the bolts to go in. The bolts were on the inside of the bracket holes if that makes sense. I had to pull the the one rail over hard to make it in the bracket hole. I sent you a pm.
