AMP Research Installation Video 2016 2500 gas?

Gents,

Anyone have a link to an Amp Research Plug-n-play Power Step installation video for a 2016 2500 gasser?

I'm sure I can get written instructions from AMP (may even be in the box when it arrives), but my brain prefers video.

My 4'-9" wife and 3 little kids are looking forward to these steps.

Thanks.

I hear it's really easy. They use double stick tape so it's just peel and stick. Just don't mix them up or they will open in instead of out. If you do just peel it off and put it on the other side. You might add a few self taping sheet metal screws to be safe. So there yang go, if you need more info just ask, I have a ton of useful ideas and shortcuts on how to do stuff.

Can't help you with the video but like you said the instructions are in the box or you can download a copy here:

If you ordered the Plug-n-Play option they are really easy to install. Mine took me about 2 hours by myself and that's taking my time and includes opening the box and cleaning up afterwards.

If you didn't order the P-n-P that's another story and you're probably in for about 7-8 hours with some nasty wiring ...

I did mine with the instructions and it was not difficult just took time. Uses all factory holes and led lights are double stick tape and double as the stop for the step when folded in.

Just FYI -- your steps should not touch ANYTHING when they are stowed. You need to loosen the screws that hold the steps to the arms and adjust them so they don't hit the lights or rocker panels.

How far will these drop down when measured from the top of the sill plate compared to the OEM steps?

I'm not at my truck right now to measure but on my 1500 the step basically splits the difference from the sill plate to the ground. They make a much more "natural" step height than factory steps which is one of the main reasons I bought them.

I will measure tonight when i get home. It is far enough down that you can stand on the step and not worry about balance or scratching the rocker panel.
