Rusting Tailpipe

Is anybody's inside of thier stock tailpipe rusting. Mine is on my '03. I thought this was supposed to be stainless. My S10 burned so much oil from the time I took delivery from the stealer I guess that the black soot kept that from rusting. I guess I should be thankful that THIS new truck doesn't burn oil. :fume:

 

Anybody else notice this.
