bedliner on sides of 1999-2002 Silverado

Looking to purchase used 1999-2002 Silverado 1500 because thats my favorite body style and reliability. I really like the two tone especially with the darker charcoal gray at the bottom half. However harder to find the two tones. I have seen many people bedliner the lower half of their trucks black to make it two tone and prevent rust. Could this be done but in the dark gray charcoal color bedlinerinstead of black? Didn't know how hard it would be to match the exact gray on the two tones (medium gray metallic or whatever its specifically called?) Also could you bedliner the plastic trim piece for the side or just leave that as is and apply over the bedliner? Any idea on price? Anyone have pics of two tone with bedliner, preferably other than black? Just curious

Yes, you can have the bedliner applied to any surface on the truck. The color of the bedliner material would depend on the brand you go with...most manufacturers have the liner material in different colors, but, unless things have changed since I had mine done in '10, the colors aren't "factory" colors.

 

There were several threads in the Vehicle Appearance & Care forum from a few years back with several people posting pics of their trucks with the rocker panels sprayed with bedliner material
