What's the difference between the fabtec and mcgougys (I know I spelled it wrong) other than the Uni ball? What one is better? 6 inch lift nothing To crazy

One is cheap one is not. 6 inch is actually right at the start in the range where a lift kit would be considered 'crazy'. Sure you can ho higher and harder but 6 inch will change all the angles enough to require specialized components.

You Lift It You Bought It

warranty should also be considered. low end kits you are on your own and GM can easily point to a lift as a drive train failure cause. better kits will provide a warrenry for your drive train should GM deny a claim.

I was figuring like 4 grand ish for the kit. Just not sure if there is much of a diffrence in the 3.

For that price range I would suggest looking at the BDS Coilover kit it run around 3800 but you may find a sale. They provide a no nonsese warranty but it must be installed but a certified/affiliated installer. This is a 'better' kit in that it does not use spacers like lower end ones and should come with control arms and add a leaf.

Pro Comp Stage 2 lift is equally as good as is their warranty and also does not use just spacers. It is around the same price give or take a couple hundred. They are however completely out of stock and from what I know have no ETA on availability.

*I am not an expert nor would I consider any online advise as such myself. We are all just enthusiasts take it as that but at least you can ask the right kind of questions when talking to a pro in a shop.

**Expect to pay 8 hours, possibly 10 in labor at whichever shop if you want to keep warranties in tact you cannot install it yourself.
