Help Me Troubleshoot. (Video Included)

I'm trying to determine where this noise is coming from. It's not consistent even when driving straight and seems to go away when driving up hills and comes back when driving down hills. It seemed to go away most of the time when I would turn right but for some reason I'm not convinced it's the wheel bearing. I already jacked the truck up and couldn't find any play in the front wheels. Check out the video and let me know what you think. It almost sounds like knobby tires but I don't think my duratracs are enough to do that not to mention it comes in and out. (Ignore the check engine light, I verified it's unrelated, exhaust sensor) https://vimeo.com/184023317

I'm thinking now that it might be a cv joint? Not sure if this is also something that's wrong or the same thing but I got the tires rotated and balanced today and afterwards there seemed to be some fairly loud clunking noises while driving slowly in the parking lot and a couple occasional ones while driving straight going about 30

Final thing I found while down there looks like my differentials leaking a little from the Cv joint...joint

You have lost a belt inside one of your tires or maybe 2 of them. Same thing happened on my old 2003 i looked and checked everything and ignored a fella that said it was the tires LOL. Then I put new tires on and BAM problem gone. Bite the bullet and get some tires man.

Thanks for the input, seems like no one else has any ideas... As for the tires, I have practically brand new duratracs that I just put on before last winter, pretty sure they're still good. I did top off my front differential oil and it seems to have helped quite a bit but now I have the clunking noise coming from my front left and differential oil leaking from the right Cv joint.

Watching the video, my first thought was U Joints or differential.

A dry front diff is gonna make some noise as it tears itself up.

A bad CV joint (which you found) is a good candidate for the noise.

You get the prize, today during lunch I decided to put a camera on the passenger CV joint to see if I could tell where the noise was coming from and sure enough.... I blew something in the rear differential. Listen for it near the end of the video. Anyone have any ideas if its just the spider gears or the actual pinion gear? Seems fairly simple to change the spider gears but more labor intensive to do the pinion gear. I will dive into it tomorrow but I was hoping to order some parts tonight because no one has them in stock around town. I lost all power to the rear wheels and every time I put it in drive, it makes that horrible grinding noise, but it didnt seem to make the noise in reverse. Any guesses? Take a look at the video and listen for it. You'll know when you hear it....

This was quite common in older vehicles.

The gears in the rear end are worn therefore making a wining noise.

Replace the gear set in the rear end or get a used one with lower mileage and you should be fine.
