Weird squeak

Hey everyone new to the forum and to gmc. Anyways just brought home a 2016 gmc sierra with 5.3 6 speed auto. What ive been noticing is if i let the throttle off And quickly re apply i get a weird squeak just curious if anyone else gets this truck has 800km.

Try clamping open the flapper valve after the muffler and see if squeak goes away

Mine would chirp everytime I got in the gas

I had the same issue and its the flapper valve in the exhaust. It's when you go from V4 to V8 mode. Dealer replaced entire exhaust because of this. Also started a thread about it a while ago but sums up exactly what i just said.

How did you get the dealer to replace? Did it fix the noise. Mine said it was normal and there is nothing they can do
