TheScaryGuy Posted March 7, 2002 Posted March 7, 2002 I personally have a 4 way lug wrench, 2 6 inch clevis's and a 60,000 lb rated tow strap. I also have a small fire extinguisher(buddy gave it to me) and a bigass mag lite flashlite. (In Red!) That just about does it for me. I would like to eventaully get a bed tool box, to keep a cheap china set of tools in and all the stuff I just mentioned that doesn't fit all that well behind my bench seat. What about you guys?

Soon ill probably also carry a jack (big one) with me.

Jpshostr Posted March 7, 2002 Posted March 7, 2002 What kind of emergency, truck, or in our case animal? For machinery: Tow strap/clevis God knows how many tools Cellphone Wintertime, scoop shovel Animal (cattle): Calf puller with chains Bloat needle Scours pills Halter Full length arm gloves Cellphone With the truck, I really don't consider any breakdown an emergency, however, the latter does qualify. When you see something wrong, you have to act NOW or else something is going to die.
sincityZ71 Posted March 7, 2002 Posted March 7, 2002 So far I have: a bunch of tools shackle (need a good tow strap though) a big maglite and a lil' maglite duct tape jumper cables first aid kit canine first aid kit (for my doggies) gloves tie down straps a backpack my GPS leatherman tool S&W tactical folding knife military fighting knife (6in blade) in sheath always next to me and I always have my cell and another S&W folding knife physically on me. That is all that I think I have?? I wanna get a tool box/chest for the bed to hold a bunch of this crap. Also want to throw in a good jack, a fire extinguisher for sure, a better first aid kit, shovel, blanket, flares, extra parts like belts and all, and whatever else I can think of. Maybe a CCW when I turn 21 too. No one ever tells you tourists about our lovely crime rates here in sin city. ???
