Valve stem extension clips for GMC aluminum dually wheels?

I have a 2015 3500HD Dually and have put the Pacific Dualies 18100 Max 7" extensions on the inside duals. The wire spring clip that would hold the new extension does not fit over the thick aluminum wheel opening. Has anyone found a clip or a fix for this? I don't want the stems flopping around without support or scratching the rims.

I called Alcoa and their parts branch Haltec; they do not have any grommets or stabilizers for the valve stem extensions as the wheels were GM spec. GM Part #22791555, Option Code RS7, Option 1.

The triangular opening in the wheels is 5" x 2.5" tall. Has anyone resolved how to stabilize the valve extensions from the inside duals?

check your local tire shop , or any BIG rig truck stop / service center - they might have what you need . Don't hurt to ask .
