Y pipe o-ring exhaust leak

I have a 97 Chevrolet truck that has a exhaust o-ring leak, I put JB weld high heat on it and it shut it up for about 4/5 days but then it just fell off again and is loud and annoying as ever. It's at a hard spot on the pipe but does anyone know of the best stuff to put on it that would last a long time hopefully?
