Bed liner on bumpers?

cerakote is really thin isnt it? i know it really popular for painting guns.

my buddy is telling me it may be too cold out to paint my running boards with the bed liner, im inclined to believe him since he said bring it down to his paint booth....

so depending on the weather it may or may not happen next weekend. we are going to my cottage to go hunting but i think im the only 1 with a tag this year...so ya i dunno if we will even be hunting really.

I believe it is .001" thick. I am sure it would be fine as far as rocks and what not and when you wash it, it just beads off so you don't have to wipe it down. I think black linex would look off on my white truck, and I don't think white linex would look close enough to the factory paint.

Hope the cerakote works out.I've never used it or seen it first hand that I'm aware of.

I thought about doing my tikka t3 action and barrel in it a couple yrs ago but never got around to it.

Instead of spraying the rockers I suggest a vinyl tape that's got the same material. That would be your best bet. Unless you really want to spray the truck... lol.

The vinyl material is rough like the bed liner. Google protective vinyls for vehicles and you'll find what I'm saying. It's prolly what I'm going for

problem with that is it really has to be applied when the truck is new, and has to be a really good install.

so im 90% sure my truck is going to make it to my cottage so i can do a bit of the black out on it.

my fiancee wanted to have the truck for the weekend but im out "hunting"...so i kinda need the truck...right? eventhough my buddy is picking up his new 2016 silverado thursday night and my other buddy is bringing his lifted F150.... yup..i need the truck lol
