2017 Sierra All Terrain vs Denali

There isn't a whole lot of difference in ride between the denali and the AT. I've driven both for 10s of thousands of kms as I have a 17 AT coming from a 15 denali.

I got the AT because the denali adds a bunch of stuff I didn't want this time.

The only real thing I would rather have is the gauge cluster, yes it's nicer but not paying 8k more for it lol.

My current 17 AT rides great just ripping around in the city and highways.

I have a 16' all terrain 8-speed 6.2 and my dad has 16' Denali 8-speed 6.2. I drive my dads sometimes when I don't want to use mine (if I just detailed mine ;) )

HUGE difference in ride comfort! My AT is a little bumpy on the road (which I don't mind) but the Denali just feels so solid on the road and incredibly smooth, as far as features between the two, the Denali really doesn't have a lot more features than the AT (powered steps, digital gauge cluster, and some others I can't think of right now)

For what you described for your use of the truck, I'd go Denali for sure, seats are comfy, ride is smooth but capable as any other trim. I just like the AT look way better.

How does the interior compare, i havent been able to see the inside of the AT. Does the carbon leather look good?

AT is very sporty, the carbon looks awesome and there is red stitching, also all the metal parts are smoked instead of plain silver. My dad has the brown and cream color combination, it's very nice and it feels luxurious. I don't know if the Denali has better cushioning but it sure does feel like it. My AT seats are great though, have no complaints there.
