Well, I got back late for the MX Track and was putting the trailer away..... Well I had to turn around in my yard and a big pricker bush branch was sticking out and I did not want my truck to brush aginst it, So I put it in reverse not thinking... and jackknifed the trailer, I have 900 miles on this d**n truck and have not even made my first payment!!!!:sigh:

I am going to see if I can get that paintless dent removal done to it.

They will be able to get most of that dent out man. Unfortunately when you have a dent it actually stretches the metal at the corners so you will always be able to see the outline. Unless you want to pay someone to tap down the high spots in your metal add a little filler and paint the bed then as good as new or at least no one else will know.. It's up to you though.

I sure hate seeing this. The flair can easily be replaced. Much of the dent can be pressed out since this metal in that area is thin and the dent is not that extreme, but as stated earlier, there may be some stretching.

So far, my truck has made it into 9,000 miles without even a nick. I know it is going to happen. I dread it. :sigh:

I had over 100,000 miles on my 95 Silverado and it was nearly perfect when some girl late for work tried to cut me off and smashed the left side of the truck. Two weeks later it looked as good as new.

Get it fixed.

AAAAARRRRRRGGGG!

Man that sux!

you may be able to pull a lot of the dent out w/a toilet plunger though. You may want to replace the flare though.

Ouch, that sucks! I would try the dent wizard folks. You would be very surprised what they can do without doing any paint work.

That is a bummer... :sigh:

My buddy hit a deer with his 2500 8.1L Avalanche on the way home from the dealer the day he picked up the truck. He was pretty bummed too...

Hey guys. I had my truck worked on today by dent wizards. One problem, I am in NYC for work right now so I can't take pictures and I don't even know what it looks like. I have no idea when I will be home, But when I am I will get some pictures up of it :flag: I did order 2 new fender flairs from GM for $180 :sigh: you have to buy them in pairs. Oh well. That was a quick $380.

Ouch. I had a dent in the same spot on my 01 1500 where some guy backed a box trailer into it. The shop had to order a new body panel for it. What sucked is that bed panel/fender is spot welded to the bed, and the welds have to be drilled out and the bed re-welded to the new body panel. The welding made the cost of the repair alot higher.

I'd say your truck should be able to get fixed pretty well with a dent puller repair job.
