2016 trucks with Android auto and screen blinking/resetting

Has anyone seen this issue. The infotainment screen will randomly go blank, your audio source will still keep playing in the background. The screen will eventually reset (if your phone is bluetoothed to the truck it will disconnect the phone and then reconnect it), then the screen will show the splash screen and begin to operate normally?

 

My truck didn't start to do this until after I got the Android auto update back at the end of March, it was really random so I never worried about it and figured I would wait until I took it in for the 1st oil change. Then three weeks ago the screen went out fully and wouldn't come back on, dealership said bad HMI module and replaced it. New module did the same reset procedure the very next day, then two weeks later it died fully and then a LINUX programming screen came up and would not go away. Dealership had GM TAC involved both times, result was bad HMI module again.

 

Then the next replacement module (#3) was bad upon install, the 4th module went in fine and programmed. I picked the truck up yesterday and then today the screen reset twice. GM has escalated the case, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue on their 2016 yet.

my screen is doing the same. truck is 3 weeks old and less than 1000 miles. I have the io5 system without carplay.

mine just refuses to load, has happened 4 times in 4 monhs, dealer is no help, says it works when he looks at it, so I paid 36K for a truck that has a working radio when it feels like it, Thursday it quit after stopping for fuel and refused to work over several stops in the next hour, after 9 hours at works I start truck and it is working. Like my name says last GM truck for me
