Headlight Adjustments

All right guys, I installed a 1 1/2 inch level kit today in my '16 All Terrain (will try to get pics up soon). Now my question is, how or do I need to adjust the headlights? My headlights are the HID I guess, with the LED bulbs around it. My manual says to go to the dealership to have them adjusted, but there is one adjustment on the back, but it didn't seem to move the light beam up or down. Now the lights do project out better for coverage since the front end is raised up by a 1 3/4 inches after measurements. I didn't get flashed or anything when I passed other cars tonight, but just don't want to that guy who is blinding everyone. Any suggestions and what was that adjustment I turned?

You'll need to lower them so you're not blinding oncoming traffic. Pop your hood, and look on top of the headlight housing. There is an adjuster recessed into the housing takes a phillips head screw driver. Park your truck 25 feet from a wall at night, and I would turn each light down 1/2 turn to start then go for a drive. I mark the adjuster with a marker to keep track of my original adjustment. The lights will project farther if they are adjusted up, but only to a point. Too much and your just illuminating the trees, and overhead signs. Not the road where you need to see. Both lights can be adjusted in under a minute.

Well, the first night I did adjust the headlights up without knowing it, I turned the adjuster counter-clockwise one rotation. I never got flashed or anything this week and the lights did project and show the road better than before I installed the level kit. Today, I adjusted the headlight down by turning the adjuster clockwise one and a half rotations. I will have to wait till tomorrow night to see how they preform.

From what I have been reading, they generally are adjusted low to begin with. When I first got my truck, I was a little disappointed with the lighting. But I am pretty impressed with it now. When I can go and find a good spot to check the beam, I will do that just to be sure. My driveway is on a hill so can't do it against the garage door.

Thanks for ya'lls help!
