Was my truck tuned before I bought it?

Hello,

I bought a 2007.5 2500 HD.

A few weeks later, Service Engine Light.

Took to a local parts store for a quick scan.

1. Looks like 2 glow plugs are having issues.

 

2. Here may be an issue. The scanner was a newer higher model version, not the quick cheap version, but an Actron Scaner none the less.

A. The scanner referred to 2 software options.

B. 1 was "old" and the other was simply listed as "new".

 

Not sure if this meant there was an update- tune that was on then removed.

 

Any thoughts or was the scanner just mis Interpreting the info.

Could be an intermittent glow plug issue for the one hence it being a non current code. I'd still replace the two trouble ones. Only way to see if there was a tuner would be a GM dealer. They can pull the calibrations history on the ECM. My guess is no tune.
